World War II POWs
We continue our series of oral history interviews with former POWs from major American conflicts of the 20th century. These interviews, conducted by the National POW Museum in Andersonville, GA, are being heard for the first time ever on radio or television. Air Force Captain Richard "Pops" Keirn was one of only two Americans held prisoner in both World War II and Vietnam. Also, an interview with Major Fred Cherry, America's first black POW of the Vietnam War.
