Senate Passes Immigration Bill, 68-32

The Senate passed the immigration bill, Thursday, with a vote of 68-32. The bill now moves to the House of Representatives, where it is likely to face strong opposition. Earlier today, Senators voted 68-32 to invoke cloture, limiting debate on the bill.

The Senate also voted unanimously to confirm Charlotte, North Carolina, mayor Anthony Foxx as Transportation Secretary.
