Senate Homeland Security Subcommittee Hearing on 2011 Spring Storm Season

A Senate subcommittee looked at federal, state and local government responses and recovery efforts in the wake of storms that killed hundreds across the South and Midwest this spring. 

Witnesses include the Deputy Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, as well as the head of the Chamber of Commerce from Joplin, Missouri, where a late-May tornado killed more than 150 people. Rep. Mark Pryor (D-AR) chaired the hearing.
