Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel Speaks to Pentagon Staff

Newly sworn in Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel made his first remarks as the Defense Department's leader to Pentagon employees.

The Vietnam War veteran and former Nebraska Senator was approved by a narrow vote, with 41 Republican Senators voting against him. He succeeds Leon Panetta as the 24th Defense Secretary.
