Washington, DC
Sunday, October 16, 2011

Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, the fundraising arm for House Republicans, joined Newsmakers to discuss the 2012 elections, including House campaigns, key Congressional districts and the issues driving the upcoming election.

Sessions said the House Republicans are working to ensure there is “less change and more stability” in the economy. He also responded to questions about the unpopularity of Congressional Republicans and said his job is to “get the American people engaged in the issues.”

Newsmakers will air after the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial dedication ceremony and again at 6:00 pm (ET) on C-SPAN.
