Pres. Obama Announces New Administration Appointments

Pres. Obama announced at the White House this morning the people he will nominate to be Energy Secretary, the EPA Administrator and the new head of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

MIT physics professor Ernest Moniz was named to be Energy Secretary. He formerly served in the Clinton administration. Current Environmental Protection Agency official Gina McCarthy will be nominated to head the agency.  And the president will also nominate Walmart Foundation President Sylvia Matthews Burwell to be his budget director. She was also part of the Clinton White House.
