Partnership for Safe Medicines Hosts Counterfeit Drug Conference

The Partnership for Safe Medicines hosts a day-long conference on counterfeit drugs, in hopes of bringing awareness of the issue to the mainstream.

Speakers from government agencies and industry groups discuss the problem of counterfeit drugs in America's drug supply and the measures that are being taken to eliminate them.

Panels include discussions of illegal online drug sales, domestic counterfeiting operations, technology that exists to detect and prevent counterfeit drugs from entering the supply, the impact on industry and the international drug market.
