New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) delivered the annual State of the State Address in Trenton.  The Republican governor, in his first State of the State speech since taking office a year ago, told lawmakers he won’t raise taxes in his next budget, wants to start debate on his plan to fix the state’s underfunded pension system, and plans to focus on education reform in the coming year.  Governor Christie was elected in November, 2009 and was the first Republican to win Statewide Election in New Jersey in 12 years.
