New America Foundation Scholar Discusses Visits to Egypt, Syria and Libya

New America Foundation Research Fellow Barak Barfi talks about his experiences in Egypt, Libya and Syria.

He recounts his recent visits to Egypt and Syria, where he traveled to the province of Aleppo and met with rebel leaders, as well as the six months he spent in Libya during the 2011 revolution.  

Peter Bergen, director of the National Security Studies Program at the New America Foundation, moderates the discussion.
