National Security Adviser Speaks on Administration's Asia Policy

U.S. National Security Adviser Thomas Donilon addressed the Center for Strategic and International Studies on President Obama's Asia policy and his upcoming trip to the region.

He discussed the Obama Administration's Asia policy over the next four years and also talked about the Administration's open cabinet positions.

CSIS President and CEO Dr. John Hamre made introductory remarks.

President Obama awarded the Medal of Honor to former Army Staff Sergeant Clinton Romesha. He was honored for his actions during an October 3, 2009 battle with the Taliban in eastern Afghanistan, during which eight American soldiers were killed and two dozen others were wounded. Sergeant Romesha is the fourth living recipient of the Medal of Honor for actions in Iraq or Afghanistan.
