House Democrats Urge Republicans to Take Up Violence Against Women Act

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) held a press conference urging House Republicans to take up the Violence Against Women Act.  The bill passed recently in the U.S. Senate  by a vote of 78 to 22.
