Heritage Foundation Discussion on National Security

Washington, DC
Tuesday, October 11, 2011

Three former U.S. Attorneys General, John Ashcroft, Michael Mukasey, and Edwin Meese shared the stage at the Heritage Foundation to discuss national security.

Two questions of the discussion include; who ensures security of our homeland, the President or Congress; and what extreme measures are protected by the Constitution.  Ashcroft and Mukasey served under President George W. Bush and faced such questions following the 9/11 attacks on America.
