DHS Secretary Napolitano Discusses International Partnerships

Secretary Janet Napolitano was the guest for an "on the record" event hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations. She discussed her recent trip to the G6+1 ministers summit in Paris and the importance of international partnerships to protecting the U.S.

"International security and homeland security are inextricably linked,”  Secretary Napolitano in a statement from the G6+1, “We will continue to work with our international partners to strengthen the security of the global trade and travel networks upon which our nation's economy and communities rely.”

Specifically, Napolitano talked about cooperation with other nations to secure travel, protect economic trade and enhance cybersecurity.
