This week’s topic: The breakup of AT&T in the 1980s in the case U.S. v. AT&T, which reshaped the telecommunications market. Our guests examine the impact of the breakup and the role of regulation.  AT&T agreed to a settlement that would break up the company in 1982, and the divestiture began in 1984.
